Your FAQs, Answered.

We all know our jobs inside and out, but when we hire a professional it’s often in areas we aren’t as knowledgable about.

We get so many questions about our design process because clients reaching out are smart and savvy – they know the best way to participate in any important investment is to be informed! Below are some of the top questions that come up – and if we missed yours, reach out! It’s a great question.

Does Elizabeth Ryan Interiors help with New Build Projects?

Yes! We love to be a part of new builds from the very beginning.

There is so much information to gather early on as the new home takes shape. Information about how you live, how you want to entertain and what elements will be special to you should be incorporated in every step of the design.

Will Elizabeth Ryan Interiors work with the contractor I select?

Absolutely. We are here to be a part of the team, and will communicate with your contractor to keep your hopes and dreams on track!

A big goal ERI has with build and renovation projects is to LISTEN very closely to the contractors and trades people – we learn more and more about their processes on every project. The more we know what helps them to do amazing work, the better prepared we are in the design phases to dream up ideas that will be executed on time and in budget.

I don’t know my Design Style, how do you know what I will like?

We ask! That sounds simple, but it’s really just good listening. In the first section of your project, we spend time evaluating input from you and visually repeat back what we hear. And then…we elevate it, working to think about how this space would be uniquely yours.

A fun way to see what your Personal Design Style might be is to take our quiz!

Do you work with clients not quite ready for Full Service Design?

We take our Full Service Design clients through a strategic design process. But sometimes that robust service is not a fit. We offer Consultation Services for those of you who want a little guidance towards executing your gorgeous project on your own.

What does it cost to Renovate/Redecorate?

Like many things in life, it varies. The cost of a brand new car will vary if you are in the market for a dependable two door sedan or a luxury SUV. You bring a lot of that information to the project that will determine scope.

ERI continuously looks at the historical data of previous projects and uses this information to estimate investment amounts. Your budget is VERY important to us, so we prefer to be upfront with expected costs from day one. You have to know where you’re heading, right?

Does our project NEED an Interior Designer?

SOO many of our clients are stylish, have great taste and already have an idea of what they want their home to look like. A great question here is – do we need to invest in an interior designer?

Depends. If you’re ready if you want your space to feel radiant, thoughtful, and uniquely yours. Yes, hire us if you want all of that—plus someone to handle all of the details.

It’s the details and the timeline that make an interior designer truly worth the investment. We understand the questions builders will ask and why one sofa is better for your tall husband than another.
